In its continuous effort to further elevate its security posture and to enhance the safety of its customers and the payments ecosystem, Bank of Sharjah is proud to announce its compliance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) and obtaining the Certification of Compliance for the card related services. This certification is stipulated by the Payment Card Industry Council and comprises of a set of data security and control requirements to ensure the security of sensitive card data of customers and prevent the risk of frauds.

This certification was awarded by an independent Qualified Security Assessor (QSA), Network Intelligence Pvt, who performed the certification audit against the latest PCI DSS Version 3.2.1.
