Job Purpose:
• Lead and manage the Corporate Banking coverage team, including Relationship Managers (RMs) and Senior Relationship Managers (SRMs).
• Expand the bank’s portfolio, enhance customer experience, and deliver on financial and strategic objectives within the assigned geography.
• Drive team collaboration and best-practice sharing across Dubai, Sharjah, and Abu Dhabi.
Key Accountabilities:
• Lead, mentor, and develop the coverage team to ensure delivery of business objectives.
• Establish a high-performance culture through coaching, training, and regular performance reviews.
• Develop and implement strategies to grow the corporate banking portfolio across lending, trade finance, cash management, and treasury products.
• Identify new market segments and cross-selling opportunities to drive revenue growth.
• Maintain a healthy balance between asset growth, liability mobilization, and fee income.
• Oversee key client relationships and ensure consistent engagement by the team.
• Position the bank as a trusted partner by promoting innovative solutions and tailored banking services.
• Participate in high-level client meetings to strengthen the bank’s market presence.
• Ensure high credit quality across the portfolio by overseeing credit proposals and risk assessments.
• Implement robust monitoring mechanisms to minimize delinquencies and maintain asset quality.
• Establish clear KPIs for the coverage team and drive pipeline management, sales reviews, and portfolio analysis.
• Collaborate with product, risk, and operations teams to ensure smooth execution of client transactions.
• Promote a culture of compliance and ethical business practices within the team.
• Perform additional duties as advised by the Chief Wholesale Banking Officer and BOS Management.
Experience & Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Banking in a similar leadership role.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Corporate Relationship Management.
• Proven experience in selling wholesale banking products in a competitive market.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, digital banking, and banking IT systems.
